Director of Sales

Richard is an experienced salesman with experience in negotiating high level, high value contracts both in the Uk and Europe. Richard joined SWINDON in 2003 after successful positions in both engineering and sales.
Born in 1967 Richard joined the Royal Navy in 1983 as a Weapons Engineer and left in 1996 to pursue a career in civilian life.
His first position was as an Integration Engineer at Matra Marconi Space. In 1998 Richard moved in to sales with M/A-Com selling RF and microwave components where he won a Star Award for outstanding sales.
Since then Richard has continued to successfully grow sales and surpass budget in all the companies that he has worked for. Due to this success he was offered the role of Director of Sales at SWINDON in 2005 and has since been successful in winning SWINDON’s largest ever development and production orders and contributing to the continued success of the company. His main interests are Rugby Union, supporting Cardiff Blues and Wales and also Liverpool FC.
